A Gift to GEDCO goes a long way in helping us pursue our mission of providing affordable housing with supportive services and assisting in meeting the emergency needs of area residents.
To meet many of our operational expenses, we rely to a significant degree on fees and grants that are restricted for specific uses. But these dollars only go so far. The rest of our funding comes from persons just like you who recognize how important it is to provide:
- senior housing that offers a warm, safe, comfortable place to live;
- groceries for people who do not have enough to eat; and
- financial assistance for people whose heat is about to be turned off.

MAKING A DONATION OF SECURITIES
Gifts of appreciated securities to GEDCO is an excellent way to provide funds to the organization while benefiting from potential tax advantages. In most cases, the full market value of the security will be allowable as a charitable deduction. GEDCO has a brokerage account to which marketable securities may be transferred. MATCHING GIFTS
