The Director of Community Services at GEDCO collaborates with the CEO and Chief Program Officer to provide operational and strategic leadership of the GEDCO CARES food pantry, emergency financial services, and community hub programs. This role is responsible for coordinating volunteer activities, managing program logistics, and ensuring the effective delivery of services to program participants. The Program Director also plays a key role in supporting CARES' Career Connection program, working closely with the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office of Employment Development (MOED) to facilitate job search assistance, employment training, and workforce development initiatives. This individual works collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and residents to uphold GEDCO’s mission-driven programs. The Program Director will engage with staff across the organization, fostering cross-departmental coordination and teamwork.
