GEDCO’s Micah House serves men and women who were homeless by providing permanent housing with supportive services.
Micah House has two buildings. In the front of the property is a renovated apartment building that has a common area on each floor for twenty-five men. In the back is a restored former carriage house for eight women.
Services
- An on-site Advocacy Counselor assists residents on an individual basis by assessing his/her history; designing a goal and action plan for success; and monitoring his or her progress, adjusting when necessary.
- Our collaborative approach with other organizations brings health screenings, education sessions about job skills and financial responsibility, cooking classes, computer tutoring, and more to our residents.
